April 17, Day 1, Monday:

DEPART FROM USA

Depart from your hometown airport to arrive at Mexico City International Airport and gather at a designated meeting place in the airport. Select International may be able to assist you with your flights once you register for this trip. Group air will be provided from Orlando to Mexico City. Depending on your arrival time, a group transfer will be provided from the airport to the hotel in the afternoon. You may take a taxi to the hotel in Mexico City for check-in and a welcome orientation meeting where we meet our fellow pilgrims. Mass will be celebrated at the hotel in the late afternoon or early evening. We gather for a welcome drink before dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Mexico City.

April 18, Day 2, Tuesday:

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE AND THE PYRAMIDS OF THE SUN AND THE MOON

This morning, we enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe. Upon arrival at the Shrine, we visit the beautiful basilica, have time to kneel in front of the Tilma, where Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted, visit the El Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well) and the site of the original apparition. We celebrate Mass and have time to explore the Gardens on our own. In the afternoon, we depart for San Juan Teotihuacan, where we have lunch, followed by a guided tour of the Archaeological site of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Mexico City. (B.L.D)

April 19, Day 3, Wednesay:

BLESSED MIGUEL PRO AND THE CHURCH OF SAGRADA FAMILIA - CHALCO - GIRLSTOWN

Our day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Church of Sagrada Familia (the Holy Family) to see the tomb of Fr. Miguel Agustin Pro, the Jesuit Martyr. We drive to Girlstown in Chalco and have a special visit with Fr. Dan Leary where we pray, celebrate Mass, and have dinner ($20 donation to Girlstown requested) with the 3000 girls before returning to our hotel. Overnight in Mexico City. (B)

April 20, Day 4, Thursday:

CHURCH OF SAN JOSE DEL ALTILLO - BLESSED CONCHITA CABRERA - CHURCH OF SANTIAGO TLATELOLC

Following breakfast, our first stop is a visit to the Church of San José del Altillo to see the crypt where Blessed Conchita Cabrera is buried. Blessed Conchita was beatified at the Guadalupe Basilica, and she is the first Mexican laywoman to receive beatification. We are met by a local priest who gives us a short presentation about Blessed Conchita’s life. Time for prayer will be included. Continue to the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco, where St. Juan Diego was baptized. After lunch, we visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and have free time to shop in the old town. We end the day with a visit to the tequila museum for a tasting. The rest of the day and dinner is at leisure. Overnight Mexico City. (B.L)

April 21, Day 5, Friday:

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE BASILICA SHRINE

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departure to Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica Shrine, where we celebrate Mass and have time to return to the Tilma and explore the grounds of the Shrine, including the Museum, Tepeyac Hill, Capilla del Cerrito, Tepeyac Garden, and Chapel of the Indians. Return to the hotel for time at leisure before our farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Mexico City.

April 22, Day 6, Saturday:

RETURN TO USA

Following breakfast, we check out of the hotel, say good by to our newfound friends, and board the bus, which transfers us to the airport depending on the time of flight departure for the majority of the group, or you may choose to take a taxi on your own in time to for your flight departure.
